About Apnawood
We make solid wood furniture intended to be repaired rather than replaced.
Every piece is built from solid timber — teak, sheesham, mango wood — with joinery you can see and finishes that can be sanded back and redone. Nothing here is veneered particle board dressed up to look like wood.
How we work
Pieces are made in batches rather than mass produced. Some are held in stock; others are made to order, which takes longer but means you choose the size and finish. Each product page says which applies and how long it takes.
Materials
We work mainly in teak, sheesham and mango wood, with cane and cotton upholstery where a piece calls for it. Every product lists its materials and finish, along with full dimensions, so you can check a piece fits before you commit to it.
Repair rather than replace
Solid wood can be refinished, re-joined and re-upholstered. Furniture built this way should outlast the room it was bought for, and we would rather sell you one piece that lasts than three that do not.
