Warranty
Every piece carries twelve months against manufacturing defects, from the day it is delivered.
What it covers
Anything that went wrong in the making: a joint that works loose, a frame that develops a wobble under normal use, a drawer runner that fails, a finish that lifts or flakes on its own. We repair it, and where it cannot be repaired properly we replace the piece.
Solid timber is repairable in a way engineered board is not. A scratch or a dent in a sheesham top can be sanded back and refinished rather than replaced, which is usually the better answer and the faster one.
What it does not cover
Colour change. Sheesham deepens over the first year; teak lightens and then settles. That is the timber maturing and it is expected. It is also why we say a piece will not match its photograph forever.
Movement with the seasons. Solid wood expands in monsoon humidity and contracts through a dry Delhi winter. A hairline gap that opens and closes with the weather is the material behaving correctly.
Marks from use — scratches, dents, rings from a wet glass, heat marks from a hot dish. Standing water, and damage from silicone polish. Damage from moving the piece yourself, or from a repair attempted by someone else.
Looking after it
Wipe with a barely damp cloth and dry it at once. Keep it out of direct sun and away from a heater. Do not use silicone polish. Lift furniture rather than dragging it. That is genuinely all of it.
Making a claim
Message the workshop that built it — the number is on the piece’s page under “Made by” — or contact us. Send photographs and roughly when you noticed it. Most things are settled from the photographs without anyone needing to visit.
Damage that was there on arrival is not a warranty matter — it is handled faster under returns, within 48 hours of delivery.
