Built to your size

Most of what we make is built after it is ordered, so the dimensions, the timber and the finish are yours to choose rather than ours to guess. Tell us what you are after and we will call you back with a price.

  1. 1Tell us the shape of it. What the piece is, roughly how big, and which timber. Approximate is fine.
  2. 2Send a picture if you have one. A photo of something you liked, a screenshot, or a sketch on paper. It does not need to be neat.
  3. 3We call you back. Usually the same day, with a price and an honest answer on whether it can be built as drawn.

An approximate figure is fine. We measure properly before anything is cut.

What we can and cannot do

We build in solid teak and sheesham, so a piece can be made to almost any dimension — a dining table to the length of your room, a wardrobe to the height of your ceiling, a mandir to the wall it is going against. Carving, storage and finish are all yours to specify.

What we will not do is quote for something that cannot be built well. A span too wide for its thickness will bow, and a joint under the wrong load will loosen however good the timber is. If a drawing has that problem we will say so on the call and suggest the nearest thing that lasts, rather than take the order and let you find out in a year.
